CYENS Centre of Excellence was represented by Prof. Yiorgos Chrysanthou at the launch of Europe’s new Digital Skills Academies in Quantum Technologies, AI Skills and Virtual Worlds.   Established under the Digital Europe Programme, these Academies will strengthen access to specialised training, knowledge exchange and collaboration across emerging technologies that are shaping Europe’s digital future.   The Virtual Worlds Skills Academy, in particular, will support the development of interdisciplinary skills in areas including extended reality, AI, 3D graphics, interactive media, digital twins and creative disciplines helping equip professionals, educators and citizens to engage responsibly with immersive technologies.   CYENS is proud to contribute to the wider European dialogue on skills, innovation and the responsible development of virtual worlds.   #DigitalEurope #DigitalSkills #VirtualWorlds #XR #ArtificialIntelligence #CYENS
