Johan Ehrnrooth has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer at Solwers Plc, a dynamic consultancy group operating across Finland and Sweden. With a strong portfolio in architectural design, engineering consulting, and project management, Solwers is entering its next phase of growth guided by Johan’s strategic expertise and industry foresight. Johan brings over 25 years of diverse leadership and technical experience. Most recently, he served as Managing Director and Vice President of the Smart Factory business at Etteplan. Prior to that, he held senior roles at AFRY, including Head of Pulp and Paper and Vice President of Competence Line Pulp & Paper. He also held leadership positions at Pöyry Finland Oy and ÅF, such as Vice President, Project Manager, and Vice President for Key Clients demonstrating a consistent record of results in complex industrial and consulting environments. His career began with hands on technical and consulting roles serving as a Development Engineer, Process Engineer, and Senior Consultant in Finland and Belgium. During this time, he led feasibility studies, financial valuations, market strategy development, and investment monitoring.
