The decision came from German parent Aumovio on global-industry grounds, not local performance — a reminder that even a headline acquisition doesn't guarantee a lasting R&D footprint in Israel. Two notes for anyone managing Israeli teams: the company is offering enhanced severance and outplacement support, increasingly the norm in Israeli tech wind-downs, and dismissals here still run through a formal hearing (שימוע) before they're final.
