John Curtin Distinguished Professor Sharon Parker recently delivered a keynote address at the OECD Skills Summit 2026 in Istanbul, Turkey. The prestigious summit brought together ministers and senior officials from more than 44 countries and 12 international organisations to discuss the future of skills and labour markets in a rapidly changing world. 🌎 As the first Australian researcher to present a keynote address at the summit, Professor Parker positioned Curtin at the centre of global policy conversations. Professor Parker emphasised that well-designed work is essential for unlocking talent across generations, particularly amid global population growth, an ageing population and digital change. She also provided advice on macro-level policies to achieve better quality work. Congratulations, Professor Parker πŸ‘ #CurtinUniversity #CurtinResearch CRICOS code: 00301J.
