Nadeem Ghazanfar never planned a career in retail... When he joined the business in 1998, fresh from studying Business and Management, his path was heading towards an office‑based graduate role but then came Christmas. He joined as a temporary seasonal sales colleague and everything changed! “That’s when I realised I loved retail,” Nadeem says. Being on the shop floor, speaking to customers, feeling the pace and energy of the environment, it clicked in a way nothing else had. What started as a temp role became the beginning of a career that’s spanned 28 years, working across 20+ stores, and developing into leadership roles including General Manager of our Solihull store, a position he’s held since 2016. What’s remarkable isn’t just how long Nadeem’s been here. It’s how he still feels about it. “I still get that first‑day feeling,” he says. 💜 After nearly three decades in retail, the excitement hasn’t faded. Every day is different.
