2025 IBERIAN SUMMER SCHOOL | We present the design proposals developed for Ronda during the Iberian Summer School, held from July 7 to 20, 2025. Based on previous documentation and analysis, and taking into account the observations made by the municipal team and local residents, the participants of the Summer School collectively developed a proposal for the improvement of Ronda’s urban environment. The proposal addressed the relationship between the historic city and the landscape, the rehabilitation of key public spaces, as well as specific interventions in the residential fabric and certain public facilities, such as the bus station. All interventions were conceived with the aim of ensuring continuity with the local building tradition, its materials, and its constructive logic, seeking a coherent and sustainable evolution of Ronda’s architectural identity.
