NYSE-listed beauty company Coty is bringing sustainability and R&D into one simplified supply chain function, eliminating the position of Chief Scientific and Sustainability Officer, held by Shimei Fan, Ph. D. The beauty heavyweight, owner of more than 40 perfume and cosmetics brands including Burberry, Calvin Klein and Gucci, says the changes will “bring commercial decision-making closer to the center and enable the company to move faster”.
