Navigating 2 amazing worlds - Technology builder + Senior Physiotherapist practising in 🇦🇪 Dubai since 2009. Community builder, author of the Phrasebook for Medical Professionals in #GulfArabic dialect

Since 2002 for me - the better communication leads to better patient care.Years ago, long before AI became part of our daily lives, I spent countless hours translating physiotherapy materials manually because I believed that better communication leads to better patient care. One of the projects I am still proud of today is my contribution to PHYSIOTHERAPYexercises.com https://lnkd.in/dWiSYn5k — a global physiotherapy resource established in 2002 and developed in collaboration with NSW Health (Sydney, Australia). I am one of only two interpreters responsible for bringing its content into Polish. My name remains listed among the contributors to this day. Looking back, it was never really about translation. It was about making knowledge accessible, helping healthcare professionals communicate better, and ultimately improving patient outcomes. Today, the tools are very different. AI can translate in seconds what once took hours. Yet the challenge remains the same: how do we communicate effectively across languages, cultures, and healthcare systems? This question has inspired my latest project — a practical communication guide focused on Gulf Arabic dialects for international healthcare professionals working in the GCC region called Phrasebook for non-Arabic medical professionals-Gulf dialect The technology has changed dramatically since I translated my first physiotherapy materials. The mission has not. Helping healthcare professionals communicate better with the people they serve will always matter. This version reads more naturally on LinkedIn, tells a story, and positions you as someone who has been working on healthcare communication long before AI became mainstream.
