Proud to share Hrvoje Zaric's latest article, "Das Substrat entscheidet", published in PLUS Magazine. The article focuses on Ultra-Low-Loss materials and the technical requirements of next-generation electronics. For us, it raises a broader strategic question: How do companies preserve their competitive advantage when critical parts of the supply chain are undergoing structural change? The differentiators lie beyond better technology. They include the ability to: 🔸 involve critical suppliers early, 🔸 align engineering, sourcing and manufacturing before trade-offs become constraints, 🔸 assess scalability and manufacturability during concept development, 🔸 secure access to critical materials before shortages emerge, 🔸 build strategic supplier relationships for materials where dependence is high, 🔸 achieve qualification readiness ahead of competitors. By the time a supply shortage becomes visible, many of these decisions have already been made. That is why competitive advantage is often less about the technology itself than about the architecture of cooperation behind it. 📖 Full article (German) in PLUS Magazine.
