People see the white coat. We got to see everything it took to earn it. This year, our friend and co-host, 𝗗𝗿. Jazmin Gibson, earned not one, but two incredible milestones: her MD and her MPH, before matching into Emergency Medicine at Conemaugh. And somehow, in the middle of all of that, she still helped us build 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. Countless meetings, late nights, edits, and ideas. This project simply wouldn't be what it is without her. Now... we'd be lying if we said we agreed with all of her life decisions. Like thinking wearing a fanny pack to the hospital is appropriate. (𝙒𝙚'𝙧𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙟𝙪𝙙𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙮𝙤𝙪. 👀) Or insisting cat strollers should be normalized. (𝘿𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙖𝙨𝙠 🤦🏽‍♀️) But those quirks are exactly what make Jazmin... Jazmin. (Ahem.) 𝗗𝗿. 𝗚𝗶𝗯𝘀𝗼𝗻 💪🏾👩🏾‍⚕️ You've worked hard. You stayed the course. You never gave up. Every exam, every setback, every sacrifice led to this moment. We are unbelievably proud of you, and we know you're going to make an incredible emergency physician. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆: Give yourself grace. Take it all in. You earned your place. You belong here.
