Engineering Physicist II working on PIP-II & ACORN projects
New Electron-Ion Collider (EIC) Accelerator projected to be at least $1 billion is gaining some momentum.. Brookhaven National Laboratory and Jefferson Lab seem to be the top choices at this point. Seems the project will have to wait until Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (FRIB) starts normal operation in 2020. Cool stuff!
