🚀 Creotech Instruments joins a strategic initiative to expand access to satellite data across the Three Seas region. On 29 April 2026, during the THREE SEAS BUSINESS COUNCIL in #Dubrovnik, 🤝 we signed a letter of intent launching an initiative to develop a hybrid satellite constellation in Central and Eastern Europe. 🛰🛰 🔹 The aim of the project is to create a regional satellite data-sharing system and develop interoperable ground infrastructure. This is an important step toward enhancing Earth observation capabilities, strengthening security, protecting critical infrastructure, supporting crisis management, and monitoring climate change. 🔹 The signatories of the letter of intent include space sector companies and organizations from Croatia, Czechia, Greece, Poland, Slovakia, and Slovenia. #Poland is represented by #Creotech Instruments, CloudFerro S.A. and Eycore. The group of signatories also includes VZLU AEROSPACE, Groundcom, and the Czech Space Alliance from Czechia; the Hellenic Association of Space Industry - HASI and GEOSYSTEMS HELLAS S.A. from Greece; SPACE-SI - Slovenian Centre of Excellence for Space Sciences and Technologies from Slovenia; Protostar Labs from Croatia; and SAB CTRL Space and Touch4IT from Slovakia. 🔹 The initiative assumes that satellites owned or operated by individual countries will also be able to carry out imaging tasks for other member states, significantly increasing the availability of satellite data across the region. The next stage of cooperation is expected to involve the integration of ground infrastructure, including receiving stations capable of receiving data from partners’ satellites and strengthening the resilience of the entire system. 🔹 As Poland’s largest space mission integrator, we actively support the development of European capabilities in satellite systems and Earth observation.
