Senators Warren and Grassley introduced bipartisan legislation this week requiring defense contractors to disclose who actually owns them before bidding. While there have been FOCI requirements for bigger contracts and classified assignments, many companies bidding on sensitive government work have been able to avoid disclosing foreign ties if their contract value falls under $5 million. The senators are pushing to include this in the FY27 NDAA. It will likely pass in some form. When it does, primes and their procurement teams will face pressure to extend the same transparency requirements down their own supply chains. Read the full blog: https://lnkd.in/eGPBmAR9
