El Niño is officially here and for Central Queensland, that means the odds are shifting. 🌡️ CQU climatologist Professor Steve Turton says it doesn’t lock in drought or extreme heat, but it does increase the likelihood of hotter, drier conditions, earlier fire seasons and pressure on water and agriculture.
