Alumnus Gokcan Hamutoglu is building a career focused on the future of sustainable power systems. After beginning his electrical engineering career on large-scale industrial projects in Türkiye, Gokcan moved to Australia to study a Master of Engineering, where he strengthened his knowledge in power systems, renewable energy integration and electrical network modelling. He now applies his skills in the Australian energy sector as a full-time electrical engineer, working across substations, battery energy storage systems and large-scale infrastructure projects across Australia.
