#StudentSpotlight: Emily Bautista, a senior majoring in business administration with an emphasis in management and human resources, is making the most of her time at Cal Poly Pomona through work, internships and campus involvement. As a first-generation Mexican American college student, she works as a student assistant in CPP's Alumni and External Relations Office while gaining professional experience as an HR intern at Casa Colina Hospital & Healthcare Center. Emily's favorite class has been MHR 3210: Human Resource Management, where she developed her passion for the field. One of her favorite memories was meeting Michelle Zauner, author of *Crying in H Mart* and lead singer of Japanese Breakfast, through the CPP Common Read program. Outside of school, Emily enjoys taking ceramics classes, reading and playing tennis.
