When we were thinking about what to do for International Women's Day, we knew we didn't want to just put up a post and call it a day. We wanted to do something that meant something for women, so we kept asking: What would actually make a difference? Our answer was the one month internship programme. A programme designed to give young women a look into the corporate world early enough to help them decide if the path they're on is the right one. To confirm it and go harder, or to pivot before the frustration that comes with figuring it out too late. Our interns have arrived. They've been onboarded, and they are getting to work! We didn't forget everyone who applied but didn't make the final cut. We also hosted an engagement session where applicants joined our female AVPs for real conversations about their fields, their careers, and what working in fintech actually looks like. Because the goal was to help as many people as possible as they start their career journey.
