Meet Gold Usoro… our IWD intern, and double first-class queen! 👑 As if graduating with a First Class in university wasn’t enough, Gold just got her red scroll, meaning she bagged a First Class in Law School too. At this point, the pressure is officially on. In her words: “The expectation went up since I got the red scroll, but I'll keep doing my best." Gold has always been the “why?” girl. Why do we do things this way?, Why can’t it be different?, Why does this system exist? Turns out, asking too many questions can actually pay off… because that curiosity led her straight to law. She joined our IWD internship because she wanted something beyond the typical legal path. She wanted a chance to see how law intersects with finance, tech, and innovation while being in a space intentionally built to empower women. Outside of being brilliant, Gold loves fried yam and egg, is a Candy Crush warrior and TikTok connoisseur. While most of us are just trying to survive adulthood, Gold is dreaming bigger… Like building a meaningful legal career, making impact, and maybe one day… going to space 🚀 (Yes. Actual outer space.)
