What makes better public spaces? Better conversations.   Over the past few weeks, our team has been out across Manchester supporting the engagement on the proposed transformation of Piccadilly Gardens, speaking with the people who know this iconic space best: those who use it every day.   We heard from commuters, city centre workers, families, students, and visitors; every conversation added another layer of understanding about what people value, what they would like to see improved, and what a successful Piccadilly Gardens should feel like in the years ahead.   Good engagement isn't about asking a question and moving on. We create opportunities for honest conversations, listen with intent, and make it easy for people to have their say.   A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by a drop-in session and shared their thoughts with us.
