On his first official visit to Ireland, Council of Europe Secretary General Alain Berset reaffirmed Ireland’s long-standing commitment to multilateralism, international law, and the values of human rights, democracy and the rule of law.   Meetings with Ireland’s leadership focused on democratic security, accountability for Ukraine, migration within the framework of the European Convention on Human Rights, and the future political role of the Council of Europe. https://lnkd.in/eJc69zhy
