As technology becomes an increasingly important part of children's lives, so do the risks they face online.   The latest Council of Europe report on ICT-facilitated child sexual abuse and exploitation highlights progress: ➡️ More child-friendly national helplines and other support services ➡️ Less obstacles to prosecute crimes committed abroad ➡️ More professionals trained to identify and report signs of sexual exploitation and abuse   But challenges remain. Children still risk excessive criminalisation for possessing or sharing their own and other children’s self-generated sexual images and videos.   Protecting children online requires sustained commitment and coordinated action.   Read full report: https://lnkd.in/eNn4CD5U
