📢 The Directorate General of Human Rights and Rule of Law (DGI) of the Council of Europe is recruiting a Security Manager. The Accountability for Ukraine Unit operates under the direct authority of the Director General for Human Rights and the Rule of Law (DGI). The role is embedded within a dynamic and scaling operational environment, with activities expected to be delivered across locations, including Strasbourg and The Hague. The Security Manager will work in close co-ordination with the Directorate of General Services. Requirements to apply: ✔️a university degree at least at Bachelor's level; ✔️solid professional experience in security management, policing, or a related field, preferably within a jurisdiction and/or an international organisation; ✔️knowledge of international standards related to security management in judicial settings; ✔️a very good knowledge of English. Eligibility criteria: ✅ be a citizen of one of the member states of the Council of Europe and fulfil the conditions for appointment to the civil service of that state; ✅ have discharged any obligation concerning national service (military, civil or comparable); ✅ not be the parent, child, stepchild or grandchild of a serving staff member of the Council of Europe; ✅ be under the age of 65 years.
