🔦 The latest in our #OER focus series: Mental Health Essentials: Transitioning from Student to Practitioner 📊 Project Status: Coming Soon (with a sneak peek available now) Editors Professor Phil Maude, Russell James and Angela Milligan have shared this update on Mental Health Essentials which was awarded CAUL’s 2025-26 OER grant in the Collaborate category. 💪 The Mental Health Essentials project has built a strong national community of practice to collaboratively develop the forthcoming OER. This brings together 37 authors from 26 institutions (including 21 universities). ⚡ The project team has received 60 expressions of interest to adopt the OER or contribute to the project in some way. Significantly, this includes the Department of Health who plan to embed the OER in online mental health modules for all Australian public services 🤩 🪶 The community’s activities have included "Shut Up and Write" author workshops and consultative feedback on the design and structure of the resource. Content development continues, with 20 chapter outlines submitted for review and 5 full chapters currently in editorial review across the planned 35-chapter resource. 👀 Want a sneak peek?
