You never really know what a summer internship will be like when you get that call confirming the offer. To say that I was excited to start would be an understatement, yet one thought kept nagging me as I counted down the days: would I just be running coffee and taking notes that got glossed over? Absolutely NOT. Coca-Cola Consolidated and Jordan Keane gave me a summer that I’ll be sure to remember. Not only did I have real ownership over a Six Sigma warehouse automation project spanning multiple regional distribution sites, but I also got off the warehouse floor multiple times throughout the summer to experience all that Consolidated had to offer.
