Everyone is racing to build AI agents, but what will determine which ones actually succeed in production? The conversation has been entirely dominated by models, but models are only part of the equation. While we’ve previously talked about how memory failures sink agent workflows, the infrastructure problem runs much deeper. To move beyond simple chatbots, enterprise AI requires memory that carries context, governed access to operational data, complete visibility over AI actions, and the flexibility to swap models without rewiring the plumbing. Manually stitching this together creates massive compliance risks and ballooning token costs. The real challenge isn’t building AI anymore. It’s putting AI to work with your enterprise data. The companies that successfully deploy mission-critical agents won't be the ones chasing the newest model. They will be the ones that solved the data layer first. It requires more than models. Something new is coming. June 30, 2026. #ArtificialIntelligence #AIAgents #AIInfrastructure #EnterpriseAI
