Standards should evolve when the science does! Cosmetics Europe was invited to the European Commission to discuss a potential update to the EU’s 2006 Sun Protection Recommendation, asking a critical question: does today’s evidence suggest we should rethink what “enough” protection looks like? Coty’s Sun Research Director, Professor Marc Pissavini represented the industry, bringing scientific work to help inform how consumer exposure and protection needs are reflected across UVB and UVA.
