The hardest problems in asset management are rarely just technical. They sit at the intersection of strategy, data, systems, and the people who need to use them every day. That is exactly where Rodolfo Rodriguez works.   We are pleased to welcome Rodolfo as Senior Consultant in COSOL's Advisory team. He brings deep consulting and #assetmanagement experience across #mining, oil and #gas, #energy, utilities, #rail, ports, local government, and food manufacturing - covering everything from strategy and governance through to asset information, maintenance optimisation, readiness planning, and digital enablement.   We asked Rodolfo a few questions:   🟠 Rodolfo, what attracted you to COSOL?   "Relationships and trust have always been a big part of how I work, and my introduction to COSOL came through reconnecting with Ben Prior. Through those conversations, I got a much better understanding of COSOL's direction, the growth of the business, and the role Advisory plays in helping clients solve bigger and more complex problems.   What really stood out to me was the breadth of COSOL's capability. We can support clients from asset management strategy and advisory, through to asset data, SAP, #Maximo, Hitachi #Ellipse and other enterprise systems, and even into operational tools like OnPlan mobility. That end-to-end capability is powerful because it allows us to support customers at every level of the organisation, from executives through to the teams doing the work." 🟠 What skill or strength from your past roles do you hope to contribute here most?   "I'd say my biggest strength is helping clients create clarity in complex environments. A lot of the work I've done has involved cross-functional teams, competing priorities, imperfect data, and big decisions that need to be made with confidence.   My role is often to help bring the right people together, structure the problem clearly, and develop the story or evidence base that allows decision-makers to move forward. In simple terms, I like helping clients solve difficult problems while giving them the confidence to bring their teams, peers, and leaders along the journey."   🟠 What problem do you most enjoy helping customers solve?   "I really enjoy problems that sit at the intersection of strategy, data, systems, and people. Asset management is rarely just a technical problem. The best outcomes usually come when you can connect the business strategy with the asset information, the systems, the processes, and the people who need to use them every day.   I've always had a strong advocacy for #data and consider it a core part of how good asset management decisions are made. What has been refreshing at COSOL is that, even with my background in this space, I'm learning just as much as I'm contributing. The depth of data and systems expertise across the organisation is impressive, and it creates a real opportunity to help clients move from strategy into practical, sustainable execution."   Welcome Rodolfo!
