We’re almost there… Today, while putting the final touches on our pilot deployment, the team from the ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence joined us on the rooftop (Efthymios Georgiou Thalia Nikolaidou and Zios). We walked them through the full setup: how our add-on works, how we monitor everything, and what kind of data we’re collecting. Big thanks to the Eratosthenes team for the collaboration (and yes, the excellent — no pun intended — test site). Having access to a space on the rooftop with a cutting edge monitoring infrastructure has been a game changer. On our side, we’re bringing in-field insights on soiling (with DustIQ OTT HydroMet) and continuous data on dew water harvesting. What we’re seeing again: during testing, location matters a lot. Easy access, direct access to an office on the rooftop, tools on hand, a place where you can actually spend time troubleshooting it makes all the difference. And beyond the technical setup, we also took (some) advantage of the beautiful Cypriot coast with a few dives and kite surfing sessions that made the experience even more memorable. 😉 Glad to be building this with the right setup and the right people.
