Cyprus is one of the most soiling‑prone regions in the Mediterranean. The island is frequently exposed to Saharan dust events due to its geographic position. Meteorological data shows that dust episodes arriving from the Sahara have increased in frequency and occur outside the traditional spring season, making Cyprus a uniquely challenging and scientifically valuable testing environment. For our technology which interacts with the sun, ambient climate, and material surfaces these conditions make Cyprus one of the best real‑world laboratories in Europe. This one‑year pilot will help us validate :  -Energy yield : how much usable energy our material can deliver ? -Water yield : how much dew we can harvest? A huge thank you to the partners in Cyprus who have welcomed us with such warmth and enthusiasm  Rodanthi Mamouri, Prof. Andreas Anayiotos, and Prof. Diofantos Hadjimitsis. We’ve just begun installing our pilot system together with the ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence at the Cyprus University of Technology, and we’re genuinely grateful for this collaboration. We’re excited to be here, and even more excited to share updates with you as the testing progresses.
