Celebrating 10 years of my album "Impossible Things" with a limited anniversary vinyl release and reunion concert. On 24/01/26 I’ll be performing at Vortex Jazz Club in Dalston with the band from my debut album and I would be so thrilled if you would come. More about the album below. Tickets are available here: https://lnkd.in/eYkFH4hF If you want to hear or buy the album, you can do that here: https://lnkd.in/eMQdmXQ2 10 years ago I release my first album - ‘Impossible Things’. The whole experience of putting my heart into music and having these amazing musicians realise it was totally overwhelming. We prepared loads then had a luxurious 5 days in Giant Wafer, a residential studio in Wales. I remember the outpouring of emotion listening back in the control room on the final night and everyone piling on me, late night jams, a feeling of real musical trust and lots of hilarity. After the release, we toured across 23 mostly consecutive dates supported by Arts Council of England - another intense, wonderful stretch with some incredible guests like Tom Dennis, Jessica Radcliffe, Calum Gourlay, Joe Downard and Rob Luft joining the team. I’m astonished at the reach of that album. I’ve heard it’s a metal band’s mutual favourite album, that someone walked down the aisle to one of the pieces, that it inspired the sound of other musicians I admire, pieces being played in students’ jazz recitals in America, Canada and Australia. I remember a rowdy audience singing along to the pieces in Cardiff… 1000 copies of the CD vanished in just over a year but I never pressed the vinyl, despite being asked “will you ever put this on vinyl?” More times than I can count. So here it is. A limited edition of 100 copies is on sale now. I won’t make any money from it. It’s just a response to the love that the album has received and a sort of “thank you” to everyone who made this album so fulfilling for me as an artist. Thanks folks!
