Through Corning Community Impact, the group leading our philanthropic, community engagement, and economic development efforts, Corning is proud to recognize this year's Excellence in Volunteerism Award recipients, employees who each completed 100+ volunteer hours in 2025. Each honoree received a $5,000 grant to give to an eligible nonprofit of their choice. We're also thrilled to announce our inaugural Volunteer of the Year, Meghan Lyons, who received an additional $10,000 to direct to the HUMANE SOCIETY OF SCHUYLER COUNTY, for a total of $15,000 in grant funding.
