The Department of Structural Materials at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR) is seeking a PhD candidate and a PostDoc for a joint project with Fraunhofer IWS focused on the development of novel irradiation-resistant AM-manufactured alloys for fusion applications. You will work at the forefront of materials science, combining alloy design, ion irradiation, and microstructure analysis – and benefit from access to cutting-edge infrastructure at the Ion Beam Center at Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR), one of the leading facilities of its kind in Europe.
