⚠️ Met Éireann has a yellow high-temperature warning in effect for Cork. For people sleeping rough, the heat is more than uncomfortable. It's a health risk. Without easy access to water, shade or rest, hot weather quickly takes a toll on physical and mental wellbeing. Our Outreach Team is out across the city, checking in with people and handing out bottled water, sun hats and sun cream. We're also encouraging anyone sleeping rough to come into our day centre, where it's cool and they can rest. You can help too. If you see someone who appears seriously unwell, call emergency services straight away. If you're worried about someone sleeping rough, please contact our Outreach Team on 021 427 8728.
