For more than ten years Darina has volunteered with Cork Simon's Soup Run, witnessing the difference your support makes every single day. 365 days a year, people come through our doors for a hot meal, a warm drink, a friendly face - and somewhere they know they'll be welcomed without judgement. As Darina puts it, the people who come through that door are family, friends, neighbours and members of our community. Every person deserves compassion, dignity and the chance to find their way home.
