1,157 men, women and children were in emergency accommodation across Cork and Kerry in May 2026. That is 30% more than the same time last year. Behind that figure are people trying to do what we all do - keep a routine, get a decent night's sleep, get through the day. Without a home, even those things we take for granted are a struggle.
