WELL. THAT HAPPENED. - Recently I learnt something truly unexpected. A stranger, no profile picture, naturally, decided that LinkedIn was the perfect place to tell me I was "belle de nature" at 3:52 AM and follow up on Sunday with "I love you, Corinne." Now I'm wondering… should I add this to my CV? New skill unlocked: inspiring declarations of love from anonymous strangers on professional networking platforms. Proficiency level: apparently very high. I also considered asking him for a LinkedIn endorsement. You know, something like "Corinne is a highly motivated professional and also, objectively, beautiful." Great for the profile. Really rounds out the skillset. Hum… I can't. Because I blocked him. 🚫 So let me take this moment, gently, kindly, professionally, to remind everyone of the raison d'être of LinkedIn: Networking. ✅ Job opportunities. ✅ Industry insights. ✅ Sliding into DMs with love confessions at 3 AM. ❌ And the golden rule I'm adding to my personal policy from now on, no profile picture = no connection request accepted. Full stop.
