At the Aspen Security Forum | Aspen Strategy Group, our CEO Talal M. Al Kaissi joined Timothy Haugh, former Commander of U.S. Cyber Command and former Director of the National Security Agency, for a conversation moderated by David Sanger of The New York Times on what it will take to build the infrastructure for the AI era. A few ideas stood out: 🇦🇪 AI leadership is built on decades of foresight. Our CEO, Talal M. Al Kaissi, reflected on how the UAE’s investments in connectivity, nuclear energy, logistics, and advanced industries long before AI became mainstream created the foundations for the country to become a global AI hub. ⚡The Intelligence Grid is the backbone of AI-native economies. As AI becomes as fundamental as electricity, G42 Intelligence Grid, enabled by Core42, providing the sovereign cloud environments, compute, and connectivity needed to power AI at national and global scale. 🌍 Expanding access requires trusted infrastructure. Making AI available to more nations means building infrastructure that can deliver intelligence at scale while respecting countries’ security, sovereignty, and operational requirements. 🔒 Trust must be built into every layer. As AI becomes more consequential, security cannot be an afterthought. Physical infrastructure, cyber resilience, and governance all need to evolve together to support responsible deployment.
