Can math solve heart disease? Meet the 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺. 🔬➕❤️ Most people know what an ECG is, what about 𝗘𝗖𝗚𝗜? At the COR Group ITACA Institute - Institute of Information and Communication Technologies, we work on the "Inverse Problem": a mathematical challenge that allows us to reconstruct the electrical signals of the heart using only sensors placed on the patient's chest. It’s like hearing a concert from outside the stadium and being able to tell exactly which instrument is playing which note. 🎶🎻 We’ve created this video to explain this technology in a simple way.
