Great news – Morecambe Offshore Windfarm has been shortlisted for National Wind Energy Awards 2026 Offshore Project of the Year! The project has been recognised for its proactive approach and commitment to collaboration and coexistence between offshore wind and other energy infrastructure. Located approx. 30km from the Lancashire coast in the East Irish Sea, Morecambe Offshore Windfarm will have a capacity of 480MW, which is enough to power over half a million UK households. We are proud to see this work recognised and look forward to joining fellow finalists at the awards ceremony in September.
