Senior Image Quality Engineer @ Google

I’ve come a long way from picking up a camera for the first time in high school to now, using my expertise at Google in both technical and creative disciplines to help demo some of the best Real Tone updates for WIRED It’s been an intense work year with the extraordinary software teams within Pixel Camera to stress test all of the amazing updates to Real Tone. As a person of color myself, it brings me joy to see the excitement for Real Tone and the many underlying computational photography features that not only keep diverse skin tones in mind, but also make us look damn good while doing so. One of the most rewarding parts of this job, is collaborating with the community of people I know (and don’t know) to be apart of making Real Tone better, through voluntary, consented, and/or paid efforts coming together for a solid 2024 launch of the Google Pixel 9 series. Check out the FULL article (and video) below written by Julian Chokkattu and hear from Florian Koenigsberger, Product Manager and Google Image Equity Lead. Special thanks to the team Dominique M., Ashlee Green, Asmara (Izzy) Holmes, Salma Doghraji, Michelle Vinocour, Donovan Mack, Gerald Oliver Gordon Jr., MS, Tamon George, MBA and of course Florian Koenigsberger. Until next time 🤞🏾💫 #RealTone #MadeByGoogle https://lnkd.in/eZrM-ecW
