#AUTOMAPPPS in action: New video about more paint repair with robots. Courtesy of our customers AUDI AG and ASIS GmbH. All repair process, collision-free motions, robot-robot-coordination, ABB robot program generation a.s.o. are automatically planned by our #AUTOMAPPPS software. Since SW is invisible as always, it appears we are designated to be the „hidden champion“ in paint repair. Anyway – it is fun to be part of the coolest robotic solutions. Responding to belows comment: How is the repair fully automatic? Put simply, the inspection sensors, which are dynamically optimally positioned by the robots, find all the defects for each car and send a list to our #automappps paint repair software which plans the appropriate repair strategy, creates the schedule, optionally ensures load balancing, plans singularity- and collision-free robot motions, ensures robot-robot avoidance. Finally it creates robot programs with all the necessary signals and other information for controlling the tools and more. In the “language” of robot control. Of course, from the perspective of software and system integration and control, there is so much more that has been omitted in our brief summary. Parts of that can be seen in the video however.
