Last Wednesday, Ron de Bruijn and Bas Huisman gave a course on design principles for precision mechanics to our instrument maker colleagues from the Equipment & Prototype Center. The goal was to give more insight into the thinking behind design decisions, using hands-on demonstration setups to make things concrete. Good to see this kind of knowledge sharing happening within the Mechanical Engineering at TU/e department!
