Hard hats, history, multifamily construction, and a little friendly competition. Last Thursday, our 2026 Summer Interns spent the day exploring projects across Columbus and connecting with team members from both our Columbus and Pittsburgh offices. The group toured the Ohio Village restoration project at the Ohio History Center, where our team is helping preserve a piece of history through infrastructure, site, and building improvements designed to match the character of the late 1800s. They also visited Astor Park Residences, getting an up-close look at the coordination and planning required to deliver a large-scale multifamily development. A big thank you to everyone who took time to share their projects, experiences, and lessons learned. Seeing the work in the field and hearing directly from the people building is one of the most valuable parts of the internship experience. The day ended with lunch at headquarters and a few competitive swings at Topgolf.
