At London Climate Action Week 2026, CATL shared its vision for a circular energy future—from battery recycling and swapping to sodium-ion innovation and value chain decarbonization. CATL is working toward full value chain carbon neutrality by 2035, expanding circular battery design principles, second-life applications, and BaaS models. CATL unveiled the Tener Sodium system with 15,000+ cycle life. The dedicated sodium-ion production line is expected to achieve GWh-scale production this year, with first deliveries scheduled for September. The company has also secured the world’s largest sodium-ion battery order, totaling 60 GWh. Building a sustainable energy future takes more than one company.
