95% of students and faculty are already using AI in educational contexts. Yet only one in four institutions has a formal policy governing that use. For higher education leaders, the question is no longer whether AI will shape how students learn, communicate, and engage with ideas. It's whether institutions will have any say in how that happens. One area receiving surprisingly little attention is dialogue education. Can AI help students practice difficult conversations? If so, under what conditions? And where do the risks outweigh the benefits? On July 9, CDI Research Scientist Ryan Carlson and Director of Education Jake Fay will join Chief Impact Officer Mylien Duong for a conversation on what emerging behavioral science research suggests about AI's role in dialogue education—and an early look at how CDI is applying these findings in practice. Together, they'll explore what the evidence currently supports, where important questions remain, and what higher education leaders should be considering as AI adoption accelerates. 📅 July 9, 2026 🕛 Noon EDT 👉 Join the Conversation: https://hubs.ly/Q04kKjrP0
