Last week, an article by abcg AB's Robert Droogleever Fortuyn caused a bit of a stir by setting out the "hard truth" about electric construction equipment (you can read that here: https://lnkd.in/eTpTJMEN). Nonetheless, Volvo Construction Equipment's Melker Jernberg told the assembled media CONEXPO-CON/AGG last week that the OEM is seeing "more discussions and interest from customers than you might believe". He explained why Volvo CE is sticking with electrification and has faith that even if the buzz around electric machines may have dropped off a little lately, it's set to come back.
