The Consortium for the Prevention of Suicide was honoured to attend the British Security Awards last night as the official charity partner. Trustees Sarah Jane Cork MSyl, FinCrime, AML, and Andrew Knights were proud to represent the Consortium at this inspiring event, which showcased the incredible dedication and professionalism of security personnel every day. Judging the awards showed how the security sector’s role is in safeguarding not only physical spaces but also the wellbeing of individuals. The nominations highlighted the importance of embedding suicide prevention within workplace wellness policies and ensuring that employees are supported through suicide first aid training. The Consortium continues to encourage all businesses to align with British Standard BS30480, promoting best practice in suicide prevention and creating safer, more supportive environments for all. A heartfelt thank you to the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) For the invitation, partnership, and continued support of our mission to make suicide prevention a shared responsibility across the security industry and beyond. #BritishSecurityAwards #SuicidePrevention #BS30480 #SecurityIndustry #WellbeingAtWork #ConsortiumForThePreventionOfSuicide #BSIA #SecurityProfessionals
