🚨 AI may be the biggest industrial shift since the Industrial Revolution. That was the message from Lars Ove Skorpen, Director Power & Renewable Energy at Pareto Securities. The numbers are staggering: ⚡ Data centers now represent around 50% of Norway's grid queue — more than 10 GW of requested capacity. 🏗️ Delivering the current project pipeline would require approximately EUR 104 billion in data center investments. 🤖 Including AI infrastructure and GPUs, that figure approaches EUR 300 billion. 📈 Meanwhile, hyperscalers are expected to invest close to USD 1 trillion annually by 2030.
