Over the years, Comtronic GmbH Verbindungstechnik has changed location severall times. 🛣️ 📍 It all began in Schönau in 1968. After the distribution agreements were ferminated due to the sale of the companies represented and our managing director decided to precude the connectors in-house, we moved to Heiligkreuzsteinach (approx. 6.1 km). 🛖 There, the horse stable was converted into a production facility. When space became too tight in 2007, the company moved to the next neighboring town: Wilhelmsfeld (approx. 2.4 km). The focus here was already on customer specific solutions without minimum quantities, so that the 500 m2 premises became too small after the neccessary acquisitions. 🏘️ In 2017, the next move was due, back to Heiligkreuzsteinach. This time to the industrial area of the small community (approx. 3.0 km). The success is noticeable: here, too, the total area of 600 m2 quickly became too small, whereas the production area was expanded by approx. 450 m2 in 2023. Planning for a further extension began as early as 2025, which is to be built this year.
