Earlier this week Scott Hudson, Managing Director – Australia and New Zealand at Georgeson, moderated a thought provoking panel at the Australian Shareholders' Association 2026 Investor Conference. Joined by Robert Miller (NAOS Asset Management), James Rodda (Antipodes) and Dean Weinbren (Pengana Capital Group), the session - Artificial Intelligence: Opportunities and Impacts for Investors - explored how AI is reshaping business models, competitive advantage and capital allocation across markets. The discussion went beyond the headlines, examining where AI is already delivering real value, how investors can separate substance from speculation, and what this shift means for risk, governance and long term portfolio construction. The panel also explored how boards and management teams are responding to AI led change, and the questions investors should be asking as the technology continues to mature. We were pleased to contribute to such a timely discussion and to be part of a conference that continues to elevate the quality of dialogue between companies, investors and market participants.
